Kurt and Tessye Simon Scholarship Fund

The Kurt and Tessye Simon Scholarship Fund was established in 1989. The fund provides college scholarship assistance to members of Temple Beth-El or to the children of members.  Scholarships are available to undergraduate and graduate students.  Applications are available to print online. The scholarships are renewable for each year that the student is enrolled. The deadline to complete the applications for this year is April 19, 2024. A committee made up of Temple members reviews the applications and notifies the student of the scholarship award in May.   We are so grateful for the generosity of the Simon family for their continued support of our college students. This year, the total amount of scholarships awarded to the Simon Scholars was $41,000.

This is the time of year that seniors in high school and college students need to acquire a Simon Scholarship application.  The application must be submitted.
