We will join with 3 other URJ (Union for Reform Judaism) congregations
to celebrate Shabbat Shira – Shabbat of Song.
It’s known as this because the Torah portion that’s read that week, B’shalach,
contains Shirat haYam, the Song of the Sea.
Cantor Rosalie Will, of the URJ, will lead our Kabbalat Shabbat gathering,
weaving together new and traditional melodies, stories, and teachings,
and we’ll participate in this together with
Temple Anshe Hesed, Erie, Pennsylvania,
Temple Emanu-El, Utica New York,
and Temple Beth-El, Ormond Beach Florida.
It’s going to be a very special evening during which we’ll learn many ways to sing our freedom.
Mark your calendars now and plan to join us.
You’ll receive Zoom links closer to the time they’re needed
