Lea Goldman, a name many of you recognize, is a Jewish painter and printmaker in our community. Lea is currently in a duo exhibition with Sarah Martin at the South Bend Museum of Art, Warner Gallery. Entitled “Intertwined”, this exhibition is a retrospective of her narrative paintings and prints, utilizing images from folklore, nature, multicultural traditions and a deeply personal mythology. Her work is a joy and inspiration! This exhibition ends on September 20th. The museum is currently open Wednesday-Sunday Noon to 5:00 pm; closed Monday and Tuesday. You are required to wear a mask and observe social distancing. The museum has a visitor limit in each gallery. Not going outside? No fears! Temple is hosting a Zoom event on October 8th at 2:00 pm in partnership with the South Bend Museum of Art. This will feature a 20 minutes video of Lea Goldman speaking about her work and will offer a question and answer period with Lea and curator, Mark Rospenda, of the Museum. An email will go out a week
before, and a Zoom link a day or 2 before the event.
