Yom Shlishi, 4 Heshvan 5778
Tuesday, October 24, 2017

We rejoice with Bar/Bat Mitzvah students and their families as they take their place as young Jewish men and women.  We offer Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation as part of our Hebrew School curriculum, coupled with individualized tutoring by designated tutors.  Our Rabbi meets with Bar/Bat Mitzvah students to help them prepare their dvar Torah (words of Torah) that they deliver during their Bar/Bat Mitzvah, and to prepare for the day of their Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

A candidate for Bar/Bat Mitzvah must belong to a family that is a member in good standing of Temple Beth-El and must have been enrolled in the Temple Beth-El Religious/Hebrew School for at least two years preceding their Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

For further information concerning becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah at Temple Beth-El, please contact Rabbi Karen Companez on 574 234 4402.
